Collaboration Between Global Studies Teacher Ms. Garcia & School Librarian
Using materials from Yad Vashem's Echoes and Reflections unit, tenth grade Global History students in Ms. Garcia's classes studied various types of Holocaust Resistance Movements and how individual resisters made a difference during that time period. They also analyzed a contemporary human rights violation and examined how the individual resister they studied would have reacted to that violation. Students created poster sessions to display their work and participated in a Museum Walk to increase their knowledge of all types of Holocaust resistance movements.
